🍁🍂Autumn Incoming 🍂🍁

We have been discussing alot in the studio the effect the light has on us; our moods, energy levels and what we feel is possible for us to achieve in our day with the reduction of the daylight.

The warmth we have felt throughout September has meant a delay to the start of Autumn, even the tree's have not turned their usual beautiful reds and oranges and many still have their leaves firmly in place!

However, with the clock change now upon us, finally, the routines that we associate with autumn are also here! Although many of us mourn the loss of light, the darkness does bring a sense of coziness and relaxation. As the days get shorter, it can be tempting to skip your movement in favor of staying inside, but it's crucial to keep moving. Exercise boosts your mood and energy levels and alleviates aches and pains which can sometimes flair up at this time. It helps us to feel good!

The studio itself is also reflecting this change; there are hints of autumn around the space (as pictured above), the heating is keeping the studio toasty for movement and there will be candlelight and relaxation exercises scattered through classes! There's also a couple of workshops on the horizon not to be missed!

So here's to striking the balance between knitted jumpers, fires and more rest (which is naturally what this time of year is for!) and nourishing feel good movement!
